Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced
Instrumentation, Electrical & Analyzer (IE&A) Maintenance Team Lead
to oversee maintenance operations in a critical alkylation plant. This hands-on leadership role will ensure the reliability, compliance, and performance of instrumentation, low/medium-voltage electrical systems, and process analyzers. Responsibilities
Lead safe and compliant maintenance in accordance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and site standards. Supervise and execute maintenance activities using Fluke eMaint CMMS. Coordinate work prioritization, technician supervision, and work quality oversight. Drive turnaround and shutdown planning, execution, and post-event reviews. Troubleshoot faults in instrumentation, DCS, analyzers, and VFDs. Support reliability improvements and bad actor elimination. Oversee technician training, competency assessment, and safety certification tracking. Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure alignment on instrumentation and maintenance strategy. Qualifications
Required : 10+ years in refining or chemical plants (preferably in HF/sulfuric acid alkylation). Deep expertise in instrumentation, loop calibration, motor controls, and analyzers. CMMS experience (Fluke eMaint, SAP, or Maximo). Associate degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Tech, or Process Automation. Certifications: ISA CCST, Fluke Vibration/IR Level I/II, or Texas Electrician License. Knowledge of DCS systems: Honeywell, DeltaV, Yokogawa. Experience with analyzer shelters, HVAC panel wiring, and sample systems.
