Position Summary: The Supervisor, Sterile Processing works under the direction of the SPD manager and is responsible for the daily operations and workflow of the department. They perform duties independently, work proficiently without supervision and serve as a resource for all aspects of sterilization processing of surgical instrumentation. Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children expects our iCARE behavioral standards to be reflected in the way every employee interacts with co-workers, providers, patients & family members, and with others in the community. Requirements: Current HSPA certification upon hire. Associate’s Degree preferred 3 years of SPD or OR work experience, 1 year as a lead tech in a similar department Good customer service and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Expert knowledge of instrument processing standards and regulations, instrument processing equipment and surgical instrumentation and power systems. We are an equal opportunity employer.
