Project Coordinator, Architectural Solutions role at Henricksen. This position is located in Chicago or Itasca/Oak Brook office. The Project Coordinator plays a critical support role within the project execution team by providing administrative, logistical, and coordination assistance across multiple functions. Henricksen is one of the largest privately-owned dealer partners of HNI in the United States. Hourly base pay range: $26.00/hr - $38.00/hr. Responsibilities
Project Relationship Management: Engage and execute work as directed and in alignment with project roles, accountabilities, and core process. Serve as liaison between Account Executive and cross-functional team, including suppliers, installers, general contractors, and end users. Proactively raise questions to support and escalate issues as necessary. Order Entry and Management: Prepare quotes using specification support software with accurate vendor discounts and markups. Place orders, maintain status reports, obtain required client sign-off verifications, reconcile acknowledgments and vendor invoices, track product to designated location, and coordinate deliveries. Coordinate with Accounting on billing status, supplier waivers, credits, cost adjustments, and invoice discrepancies. Logistics and Issue Resolution: Support punch management and coordinate service work at project sites. Customer Service: Maintain professionalism and promote exceptional client experience; communicate transparently with project teams and adapt to project and client needs in line with process and service level expectations. Qualifications
Education and Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to take direction; detail- and task-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong customer service and interpersonal orientation Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Bachelor's or associate degree in business, sales, design, real estate, construction, or related field Experience with IBM Quantum, CAP Quoting, and AS400 software Knowledge of construction terminology Experience in contract furniture, design, or construction industries Exposure to bidding and quoting Additional Information
