We are Florida-based, a leading real estate and construction firm with a large presence in the Southeast US. This position reports directly to the VP and will work closely with multi-family projects. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required in Florida; PE licensure in Georgia or Texas is highly desired. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP Engineering Manager to join our construction team. This role focuses on the design, coordination, and project management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for multi-family projects. The candidate will oversee all aspects of MEP design and construction, develop innovative and cost-effective designs, manage projects, and lead a team. Responsibilities

Lead the development of in-house MEP system designs, ensuring compliance with codes and project specs. Oversee coordination and integration of MEP systems into overall project design and construction. Manage a team of MEP engineers and designers; provide guidance, feedback, and training. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless MEP integration. Develop and implement project schedules and budgets; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Review and approve MEP design drawings and specifications for quality and requirements. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems for safe operation. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders; ensure clear communication throughout the project. Stay up-to-date with MEP design and construction advancements and implement new technologies as appropriate. Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MEP design and project management for multi-family construction. Proven experience leading in-house MEP design development. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and industry best practices. Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required in Florida (and GA/TX licensure is a plus). Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards. Equal Opportunity Employer
