Transmission Sales & Technical Specialist We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with deep expertise in aftermarket performance transmissions, torque converters and drivetrain components. This role will help drive revenue growth through both new customer acquisition (performance shops, builders, distributors) and nurturing existing relationships. Passionate about automotive performance and racing, with a deep understanding of high-performance vehicle builds and powertrain solutions. Proven track record in phone sales, customer service, and technical support, helping clients find the best products to enhance their vehicles’ performance. Responsibilities

Sell high performance transmissions, torque converters, gear sets, and other related drivetrain parts. Advise customers (shops, builders, end-users) on selecting parts based on horsepower, application compatibility, chassis compatibility, and usage (street / drag / track). Provide technical support: Prior hands-on experience, understanding customers vehicle specs and modifications performed, interpreting customer supplied data, etc. Collaborate with engineering/product teams to report customer needs, market opportunities, and suggest new products to develop by staying on top of performance trends. Travel for trade shows, customer visits, product demos. (SEMA, PRI, etc.) Monitor competitor product offerings and pricing to maintain competitive positioning. Capable of using company Inventory & Supply Chain Management. (No cold calling). Skills & Attributes

Strong product knowledge specific to high diesel and gas performance transmissions and components. Problem-solving: diagnosing customer needs, recommending solutions (sometimes custom/fabrication). Relationship builder / customer focused. Organized, able to manage multiple accounts and product lines. Good sense of urgency / ability to work under pressure. Technical aptitude: reading specs, interpreting lab or testing data, etc. Negotiation / closing skills. Education & Certifications

Associate’s degree in automotive technology or 5+ of experience. Minimum 3 years in technical sales within automotive aftermarket, preferably performance transmissions. Certified in High-Performance Engine Tuning & Transmission Rebuilding. ASE Certified is a plus but not required Parts. What you can expect
