Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications: MBA. Experience in risk management functions, with knowledge of risk frameworks, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements impacting the ads or similar industries. Knowledge of sales processes and workflows. Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, with the ability to promote a risk culture and drive organizational change. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to synthesize technical and business details into clear, strategic presentations for executive leadership and cross-functional partners. About The Job The Global Business Strategy and Operations team is responsible for providing insightful review, perspective, and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO). As a member of the Ads Policy, Risk and Compliance team, you will lead strategic initiatives that safeguard Google’s ability to operate in an ads ecosystem, with new and at times fragmented laws and reporting requirements. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities Contribute to developing, shaping, and maintaining the risk and compliance program on behalf of the Global Business Organization, coordinating across partnerships, sales, and support teams globally. Collaborate with second line teams on enterprise compliance priorities, training and awareness initiatives, and issue/incident management programs to ensure compliance with policy requirements. Build working relationships with cross-functional partners. Lead initiatives to identify risks, potential gaps in systematic processes, and deliver steps to remediate and mitigate areas of concern. Communicate findings and progress to senior leadership with updates and thoughtful facilitation; provide timely updates on business growth impacting issues as needed.
