Overview About the Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator Position: The Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for implementing an annual student recruitment plan that aligns with KIPP Colorado’s student enrollment goals. The Coordinator will be managed by and work closely with the Senior Director of Regional Operations (SDRO), the External Affairs Team, and school-based staff to recruit and enroll new students for the Far Northeast and Southwest Denver campuses. We are looking for a candidate fluent in spoken and written Spanish with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to work with a broad range of stakeholders, be self-motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to KIPP Colorado’s mission and vision.

Role Responsibilities

Believe deeply in the mission, values, and Race, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (RIDE) commitments of KIPP Colorado Schools.

Assume personal responsibility for student achievement.

Read, internalize, and adhere to the KIPP Colorado Policies and Procedures manual and guidelines.

Provide an active presence and supervision to ensure student safety and engagement in rigorous learning.

Engage in coaching and professional development with regular feedback and practice.

Be prepared for lessons, coaching, meetings, and communications; meet deadlines and honor schedules.

Utilize Google and Microsoft tools effectively; maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

Collaborate with colleagues, seek feedback, and reflect to meet development goals.

Participate in meetings and school-wide/organization-wide PD; contribute as a positive team member.

Share candid, solutions-oriented feedback with peers and leadership.

Assist with student and staff recruitment and engagement activities, events, home visits, and related requirements.

Travel to other KIPP campuses, the Home Office, or PD events as needed.

Assist with other duties as assigned (lunch, arrival/dismissal, hallway, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Project manage student recruitment and enrollment.

Input, track, and analyze data regarding recruitment benchmarks and goals.

Report progress toward goals, with SDRO support as needed.

Train and hold school-based staff accountable for recruitment/enrollment activities.

Research, plan, and attend local events to reach prospective families.

Engage community organizations to inform the community and distribute marketing materials.

Establish relationships with families to enroll siblings and leverage local networks.

Engage prospective families and alumni in the enrollment process, providing application support and consistent communication.

Develop new initiatives for student recruitment.

Support or lead community events with Advocacy and Community Engagement Coordinators to ensure resources are available and representation in the community.

Coordinate with Campus Operations to execute recruitment opportunities (canvassing, tabling, calling campaigns, events).

Assist future families with applications and campus tours/visit sign-ups.

Canvassing, tabling, and distributing flyers or door hangers around campuses.

Ensure timely arrival to recruitment events and document results of recruitment efforts.

Other duties as required.

Role Level and Qualifications

High school diploma (required).

Bilingual (English & Spanish), written and spoken (required).

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

1-3 years of relevant experience (required).

Commitment to an Exceptional Student Experience.

Proven track record of outstanding customer service (required).

Flexibility and ability to manage data and communication through Google and Outlook platforms.

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; strong written and oral communication.

Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment.

Proactive problem solver with initiative and teamwork.

Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for the work.

Ability to be resourceful and do what it takes to help the school reach excellence.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Market Salary: Starting at 61,200, commensurate with experience.

Time Off: More than 6 weeks of annual vacation and PTO; up to 8 PTO days depending on hire date; summer break varies by location.
