Overview

Lead the design, development, and integration of embedded software using C++ on VxWorks. Understand and work with legacy software systems, including software porting to modern platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and QA to deliver robust medical device solutions. Perform low-level debugging and system-level troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with medical standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485. Drive software architecture decisions and contribute to system-level design. Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specs, test protocols, and risk assessments. Responsibilities

Strong proficiency in Embedded C++ programming. Hands-on experience with VxWorks RTOS and real-time embedded systems. Experience with legacy codebases and software migration/porting. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills (JTAG, logic analyzers, IDEs). Familiarity with medical device development and regulatory requirements. Experience with communication protocols. Knowledge of software development tools: Git, SVN, Jira, Azure DevOps. Seniority level
