This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the general ledger, leading AP/AR and employee expense functions, and ensuring strong internal controls, audit readiness, and accurate reporting. You’ll be the most senior accounting leader in the organization, acting as the go-to for operational accounting excellence.
What You’ll Own
Lead all day-to-day accounting functions across multiple legal entities Manage and develop a team that includes a Controller, AR/AP staff, and accounting specialists Oversee accurate month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Own the AP, AR, and employee reimbursement processes and ensure policy compliance Prepare for and support financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Strengthen internal controls and enforce consistent, GAAP-compliant practices Improve systems and workflows to increase clarity, consistency, and scalability Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and Brand teams on shared initiative
Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); CPA or Master’s preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller; team leadership required Experience in multi-entity or franchise environments highly preferred Advanced knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and audit preparation Confident leader with a strong coaching mindset and systems-thinking approach Proficient in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable platforms Clear communicator who builds trust and drives accountability
