This is an exciting role for someone who wants to help this firm modernize their Benefits offering - you'll help to create a more self service benefits model, improve their tech and work on strategic projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Benefits, you'll be constantly learning and having a great time whilst doing so! Benefits Specialist This role supports the organisation’s HR function by taking ownership of benefits administration and leave management. The Benefits Specialist will become the trusted subject matter expert, ensuring compliance, supporting employees, and modernizing processes by working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders. The Senior Benefits Specialist will... Administer employee benefits programmes including medical, dental, vision, retirement and wellness Manage leave programmes such as FMLA, ADA, parental leave and state requirements Run engaging training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of benefits Partner with vendors to streamline processes, moving away from manual spreadsheets into integrated systems Support the wider HR team by taking ownership of day-to-day benefits and leave activity, freeing capacity for strategic projects The role requires... A minimum of 5 years’ experience in benefits administration across health, retirement and leave management Knowledge of U.S. leave legislation including FMLA and ADA; exposure to Canadian benefits is a plus but not essential Experience with Workday and ADP, plus confidence working with benefits vendors Strong organisational and data management skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate policies clearly and support employees at all levels Benefits include...
