Job Overview: Sector: Electric Utilities Seniority: Mid level Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA, United States Location Type: Hybrid -1 day a week in office mandatory As a project controls analyst, you'll take charge of the scope, cost, and schedule for a portfolio of large construction projects. Under general direction, you'll exercise your judgment to oversee all aspects of project governance. Brace yourself for multi-year endeavors, including high-profile projects. Plan and Organize: Utilize software like SAP and Primavera P6 to input financial forecast data and provide analysis. Develop and maintain project schedules, defining activities, work breakdown structures, predecessors, successors, resources, and baselines. Assist the project manager in preparing business cases, contingency releases, and managing project budgets within established governance rules. Monitor and update cash flow projections to ensure financial success. Analyze: Analyze and report on project cost and schedule variances. Create and maintain spreadsheets for reporting and analysis purposes. Track the progress of activities and milestones in project schedules. Execute: Support contract execution and administration, including change orders, accruals, and validation. Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders through meetings and calls. Help the project manager hold team members accountable for their action items. Communicate: Prepare and deliver timely updates to the project manager and analyst supervisor. Keep stakeholders informed of project developments through meeting minutes, action logs, and status reports. Manage Risk: Assist the project team in identifying, resolving, and tracking risks. Escalate risks and issues to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in project scheduling and financial analysis. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bonus Points For:

Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Familiarity with SAP, NetSuite, or Sage. Knowledge of Unifier or Project Wise project management software. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive attitude. Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a passion for training.
