Up to 30 Bakery Team Members Position Summary
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Bakery Manager directs the team and daily operations, including guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, P&L management, and inventory control. The primary goal is to drive sales and profitability while ensuring high-quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and superior service. The Bakery Manager embodies NbC core values and promotes a positive culture, bringing joy to the bakery and community, and fostering team commitment to guests and the brand. Accountabilities and Duties Team Leadership Prioritize guest experience, model engagement, and foster a positive work environment. Recruit, select, and train team members, setting clear performance expectations. Engage regularly with team to monitor workload, address challenges, and provide coaching. Conduct performance reviews and manage performance issues promptly. Ensure daily pre-shift meetings and updates occur. Define roles for Bakery Leads and assign responsibilities.
Business Operations
Maintain product, service, environment, and visual standards. Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards. Manage bakery opening/closing, cash handling, and deposits. Create weekly sales goals, cake production plans, and staff schedules, adjusting as needed.
Local Marketing
Respond to external requests for contributions. Lead community outreach to increase brand visibility. Coordinate with local businesses and organizations for events. Approve and track marketing plans and activities.
Support and Accountability
Maintain communication with the Regional Manager. Manage daily tasks via the designated app. Participate in monthly in-bakery visits by owners.
Work Availability
Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Core Values and Leadership Competencies
