On-Call Banquet Server . The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to service, a thorough understanding of the guest experience, and an exceptional Beyond Compare service attitude. This role is responsible for providing food and beverage service in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner that reflects our hotels high standards of quality. EXPERIENCE Minimum of
1 year of hospitality experience
required.
Previous
Banquet or Food & Beverage experience
strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up banquet rooms as directed by the Banquets Manager, including linens, service ware, and glassware.
Attend pre-event roll call meetings to review event details, guest expectations, and hotel standards.
Greet guests warmly, respond to requests promptly, and ensure seamless food and beverage service.
Serve food and beverages in the order and style directed by the Banquets Manager, maintaining consistency throughout the event.
Clear dishes promptly as courses are completed and reset as needed.
Replenish beverages and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic math and computational skills.
Ability to lift and carry
30+ lbs
on a regular basis.
Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
