Responsibilities:

• Monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting & financial statement preparation
• Oversight of operational accounting including expense reporting, management of reconciliations for payables
• Maintenance of the GL, preparation of journal entries
• Treasury responsibilities including cash reconciliations and banking relationship management
• Compliance responsibilities / partnering with the legal team for any regulatory requirements
• Resolve audit inquiries from external auditors during year-end audit
• Perform additional duties as and when assigned

Experience Necessary:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required
• CPA is a plus, but not required
• 3+ years of either Public Accounting or Corporate GL Accounting out of a nonprofit organization (nonprofit experience a plus, not required)
• Desire for growth & promotion within the company
• Strong Excel experience
