Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Charleston, SC for a Caregiver. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to elderly clients in their homes. Tasks include helping with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. The Caregiver will also provide emotional support, monitor clients' health, and report any changes or concerns to the families and care coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and assistance with daily activities.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments as needed.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being; report changes to families and care coordinators.

Qualifications

• Personal care skills, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Companionship and emotional support skills
• Light housekeeping and transportation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to monitor health and report changes
• Relevant experience in caregiving or elder care is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
