Adecco is hiring Quality Control Inspectors in Sealy, TX. As a Quality Control Inspector in Metal Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of metal products throughout the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct inspections and tests on metal components, parts, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Responsibilities: • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements of metal components, parts, and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. • Perform mechanical tests, hardness tests, and other non-destructive testing methods (e.g., ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing) to evaluate the structural integrity and properties of metal products. • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation, including inspection reports, test certificates, and material traceability records. • Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformances in metal products, such as surface imperfections, dimensional variations, and material defects, and document findings for further analysis and resolution. • Investigate the root causes of quality issues and collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address underlying problems and prevent recurrence. • Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and vendors, conduct supplier audits, and ensure that purchased materials and components meet quality requirements and specifications. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements governing metal manufacturing processes, materials, and products. • Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and quality enhancement through data analysis, trend identification, and implementation of best practices and quality improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance. • Standing for extended periods (8 to 12-hour shifts) is required. • Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, and reaching overhead. • Repetitive hand and arm movements and manual handling of parts and tools. • Must be comfortable working near loud machinery, metal debris, and temperature variations. • Requires safe operation of mechanical and hydraulic equipment. • PPE (steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat) must be worn at all times. • Requires physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Pay Details:

$16.00 to $19.00 per hour
