Your Role at Acousti
The Drywall Helper assists with the installation of wallboards on ceilings and interior walls across commercial and government projects. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the construction industry. The role supports experienced drywall installers by performing essential prep, positioning, and cleanup tasks that contribute to timely and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Gather, carry, and position materials Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment Measure and cut drywall materials Set up ladders, scaffolds, and other necessary equipment Operate powder actuated tools and lasers under supervision Work both indoors and outdoors in active construction settings Collaborate with team members or work independently depending on assignment Follow construction schedules and assist in meeting project milestones Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support project and business goals Support compliance with internal controls, safety regulations, and company policies Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
0-1 years of experience in drywall or construction (entry-level welcome) General familiarity with construction tools and materials (preferred) Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to job sites Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day Ability to pass a drug test Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to follow instructions Why Join Acousti?
