As an
Assembler , you will work under general supervision to build complex
opto-mechanical and electro-optical subsystems . This hands-on role includes assembly, troubleshooting, and testing procedures for advanced sensing products used in high-stakes applications such as
navigation, surveillance, and threat detection .
Key Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform assembly tasks. Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair
electronic and mechanical components . Perform precise bonding and curing procedures. Operate and monitor
test equipment and instrumentation . Inspect finished components and ensure all work meets quality standards. Execute detailed test and verification procedures using automated systems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Complete other related tasks as assigned. Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a related technical or manufacturing field. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for short durations. Demonstrated ability to
learn on the job
and adapt quickly. Nice-to-Have Experience
Associate's degree (A.S.) in a related technical field. Prior experience in
PCB assembly
or electronics manufacturing. Required Skills
Meticulous attention to detail in assembly and testing tasks. Familiarity with
electronic components , tools, and test equipment. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and engineering documentation. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with bonding, curing, and optical component handling. Understanding of electro-optical and opto-mechanical systems. Additional Skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in teams. Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and product lines.
