Job Description
Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler Urgently Hiring Pay: Day shift: $16/hr Hours: Mon-Fri from 7:00am - 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an Electro Mechanical Assembler for a temp-to-hire position for a local company who manufactures and assembles transducers, instrument transformers and voltage monitors.

As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for: Reviewing and understanding Work Orders, assembly instructions, and specifications. Setting up and organizing the work area with the necessary tools, materials, and components. Identifying and gathering the required electrical and mechanical components for transformer assembly. Ensuring proper alignment and arrangement of core materials. Connecting electrical components using wiring and soldering techniques ensuring secure and reliable electrical connections. Assembling the transformer's enclosure or casing to protect internal components. Sealing enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved means. Inspecting the assembled transformer for defects and quality assurance. Applying labels, markings, or identification tags to transformers according to specifications Collaborating with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel. Communicating any issues or challenges in the assembly process. The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Ability to work with steel or nickel materials Handle chemicals like acetone and loctite Due to various colored wires, the ability to accurately differentiate between colors is essential High School Diploma or GED is preferred but NOT required-the key is they want to make sure the candidate can perform basic math functions (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing) Vocational training or coursework in electrical or mechanical assembly, or related field, is beneficial. Soldering experience is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail Flexibility to adapt to changes in production schedules, assembly processes, or product designs. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally It is a small team environment so a commitment to showing up every day, on time is critical Upon Permanent Hire, enjoy benefits such as:
