Position Overview:
The SCCM / Intune PC Engineer role requires a broad understanding of Windows 11 and mobile operating systems, with the ability to lead change in a large complex desktop environment. The ideal consultant should have modern cloud desktop management experience, including technology such as Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. They must be able to lead the design, build, and operate a modern desktop management environment, working within the Agile Product Development methodology. The role also requires at least 5 years of experience in provisioning, migrating, and managing end-user computing and related services using MS SCCM, as well as experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory and systems management. The SCCM / Intune PC Engineer will provide technical engineering support across the enterprise for end-user computing platforms, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. They will also be responsible for device configuration and technical refresh, endpoint protection, and patching and hardening of Windows systems. The ideal consultant must have strong communication skills and be able to articulate details of a solution, problem, or initiative in both a technical and non-technical context. They should have a positive, collaborative, "can do " attitude.
Qualifications:
Required skill sets for this role include cloud desktop management, specific knowledge, and experience with Intune and Autopilot, as well as specific knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SCCM. Application of AI technologies that drive out insights in the End User compute space, which result in efficiency or user experience enhancements is also a plus. The ideal consultant should have a BS degree in a tech-related field, updated certifications, and previous experience in an enterprise environment. In terms of technical breakdown, the SCCM / Intune PC Engineer role involves 50% application deployment and packaging and 40% endpoint protection and system hardening.
