Work type: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer Location: San Francisco Categories: Unit 3 - CFA - California Faculty Association, Temporary, Part Time, Faculty - Education/Library Science, On-site (work in-person at business location) The Fieldwork Coordinator will be responsible for: Identifying and onboarding Cooperating Teachers for Multiple Subject, PK-3, and Bilingual Authorization Matching teacher candidates with cooperating teachers and maintaining accurate placement records Providing training for cooperating teachers in accordance with CTC standards Coordinating the process for onboarding and supporting intern teachers enrolled in the credential program Providing training and oversight for student teaching supervisors Maintaining records of student teaching supervision evaluation, in accordance with accreditation requirements Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with partner school districts Ensuring that the department meets CTC clinical practice standards for the Multiple Subject, PK-3 Early Childhood Specialist Instruction, and Bilingual authorization credentials Collaborating with the department chair, staff, and faculty to maintain coherent and supportive teacher preparation pathways Professional Development Opportunities: San Francisco State University supports faculty with professional development opportunities such as ongoing training through the Center for Equity and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CEETL).
