DESCRIPTION
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local and national electrical codes Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately layout electrical systems Install and troubleshoot electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures Test and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems using advanced testing devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes Work alongside other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in construction projects Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment REQUIREMENTS
Valid Journeyman Electrician license Proficiency with power tools and hand tools Strong knowledge of frame carpentry and building practices Proficiency in working with power tools and hand tools Experience with low voltage systems and industrial electrician work Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and logic controllers Familiarity with commercial electrician work and installations Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested Willing to wear required PPE On call rotation
