Interior Project Designer

to join our dynamic

Education Studio . You'll be part of a culture that values deep collaboration, technical excellence, and continual growth. Our Education studio is committed to creating engaging environments that put 21st century skills at the center of learning. We have completed projects such as Environmental Nature Center Preschool, Tarbut V'Torah and Eastvale STEM Academy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas-and help bring high-performance, community-first design to life.

What You'll Do: Lead ideation with client and project teams Engage all disciplines and stakeholders from the earliest stages to develop conceptual and schematic design of assigned projects using an informed process Facilitate presentation of design and other project documents to client for review and approval, with other project team members Preside at design meetings, presentations and activities specific to assigned project Participate in firmwide design charrettes Engage all disciplines and stakeholders from the earliest stages to develop conceptual and schematic design of assigned projects using an informed process Cultivate and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with clients, builders, governing authorities, stakeholders and team members Work in unison with the Managing Director, Design Director and Project Manager to lead the project design and develop innovative design solutions Mentor design team and communicate with Project Designers, Project Leaders and Principals to ensure LPA's design standards and processes are fully understood and brought to fruition. Represent LPA in related industry functions and events What We Offer:

Required:

Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design 10+ years of experience in all phases of architecture projects Certified Interior Designer or Licensed Architect Strong knowledge of programming, code, and functional adjacencies Proficiency in Revit Experience with Rhino preferred LEED accreditation preferred

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
