Responsibilities: We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Procedure Coordinator to our front office team at The Bariatrics Center at Mercy, a busy and patient-focused bariatrics practice. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment where your communication and customer service skills will truly make a difference in the patient experience. Schedule procedures, in-office procedures, imaging, and clinic visits Assist the administrative assistants to track pre-admission testing results assuring they have been received in a timely manner according to office protocol Responsible for scheduling procedures with Mercy Endoscopy and outside ambulatory surgical centers for multiple providers Help consolidate gaps in procedure schedules to maximize physician productivity Will possess knowledge of HMO's, managed care and third party regulations as they apply to a specialty practice Answer phones and triage patient phone calls for severity/importance Complete all assigned scanning within 72 hours Will schedule patient procedures and appointments from the assigned referral workqueue. All other duties as assigned Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

High School Diploma or GED A minimum of one-year experience in a medical office setting (preferred)

Min: USD $20.32/Hr.

Max: USD $33.53/Hr.
