The Downtown Market is seeking enthusiastic and professional Servers to join our Christkindl Markt team! As an Alpenglobe Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable Alpenglobe experiences for guests by serving beverages with efficiency, professionalism, and great hospitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional tableside service that enhances the guest Alpenglobe experience. Ensure responsible and safe alcohol service at all times. Check identification to ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements. Set up, stock glassware and beverage pre-orders, and prepare the Alpenglobes for service before each reservation. Orient Alpenglobe guests to Alpenglobe amenities including music and heater functions and additional beverage ordering. Care for guest needs throughout each Alpenglobe reservation. Take and deliver guest beverage orders with precision, consistency, and impeccable attention to detail. Pour and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly. Accurately process guest payments via POS system. Maintain cleanliness of the Alpenglobe and service areas and follow all safety and sanitation standards. Clean/flip Alpenglobes after each reservation Collaborate with other event staff to ensure smooth event operations. Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older. Must have at least 1-2 years of VIP/white glove serving or hospitality experience. Current TIPS Michigan On-Premise Alcohol Server Certificate or ability to pass the online certification course (Online TIPS training will be made available and must be completed prior to the opening day of the Christkindl Markt on November 19). Can maintain discretion and project professionalism at all times. Ability to collaborate effectively with other event staff. Physical Capacity

Able to work in varying environments, moving consistently between heated enclosures and outdoor weather conditions. Ability to transport hot and cold beverage orders between bars and Alpeglobes. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds with or without mechanical or other assistance. Must wear provided hat and jacket uniforms. Time Capacity

Must have open availability from 11/17/25 - 12/23/25 for set-up and execution of Christkindl Markt. Capable of working required schedules that include evenings and weekends during the holiday season. Must be available for mandatory orientation on either 11/5/25 or 11/10/25. Must be available for mandatory training on 11/6/25 or 11/11/25. Work Environment:

Team members will work both inside and outside areas of the market, where noise levels and temperatures may vary and change drastically. Team members may be exposed to inclement weather and temperature variations as well as pollen, mold, dust, dirt, grease, and other airborne contaminants. Core Values
