Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,086 per week in Columbia, MO

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience License: Must have MO or Compact licensure in hand Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification Must-Have: - Proficiency in supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures - Experience with Siemens radiography units - Familiarity with McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart - Ability to handle a wide range of patient acuities, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics - Call requirements: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week Description: The technologist will support various Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures. They will utilize both single and biplane radiography units. The position requires working from Wednesday to Saturday. The technologist will be involved in both outpatient and inpatient procedures. They will care for patients across a wide acuity spectrum. The daily case census is expected to be around 25-30 cases per day. The department conducts trauma and stroke interventions. Additional procedures include angioplasty, catheter drain exchange, embolization, and various biopsies. Experience with trauma level 1 procedures is preferred. The unit is equipped with multiple imaging systems including fluoro and ultrasound. Collaboration is key, as the role interacts with numerous physicians and staff. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team of interventional radiology professionals.
