Position requires an IR Tech specialization in neuro procedures. The shift includes four 10-hour workdays, with holidays covered on an alternating basis. Call duty includes one weeknight shift and every third weekend. The facility provides 24/7 coverage for trauma patients. Typical volume includes 6-8 cases per day, including procedures such as angiography and carotid stenting. Staffing includes a team of radiologic technologists and nurses, with a focus on teamwork. Experience with imaging equipment is essential. Specific skills required include monitoring, setup for interventional procedures, and maintaining sterile fields. The candidate must be familiar with vascular closure systems and the use of emergency response teams. Previous charge experience and familiarity with electronic medical records are preferred.
