Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for pulling material, loading, securing, and verifying the load for delivery to our local customers in a flatbed truck.

Physical Requirements

Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function

Set up and operate Class A or B CDL truck and Tractor/Trailer combos. Read Bill of Lading. May be required to package material for shipment. Load truck for local deliveries. Daily inspection of truck, in accordance with DOT regulations. Operate forklift. Inspect load for verification of orders being delivered. Delivery of product to customer locations. Represent Service Steel Aerospace. Fuel truck and adhere to maintenance schedule of vehicle. May be required to work OT but not to exceed 12 hours in one shift. Must follow all JSA's attached to position. Must follow all Safety procedures. Required Skills

Clean driving record for the last 3 years minimum. Ability to quickly learn multiple functions in a complex industry. Must be able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of operating industrial equipment. Ability to communicate well with others. Good mathematical skills, including measurements. Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as calipers and measuring tapes. Ability to operate a crane/forklift. Class A or Class B enhanced license
