The Parts Counter person will ensure that all orders are picked up and delivered efficiently and assist the Parts Department.

FLSA Status:

Full -Time hourly non-exempt

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with an hour lunch-Rotating Saturdays

Essential Functions

Checks in-stock orders in correct bin locations Checks in UPS deliveries Identifies and reports inventory overages and shortages Performs active inventory counts Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items into storage areas. The scrapping of warranty parts Assist with answering incoming calls Run parts when needed (pick-up and deliver) Maintains a safe and secure environment by following safety standards and procedures. Maintains a clean and organized work area Assistant in pulling parts and delivering them to technician workspaces Other tasks as assigned Requirements

Must have high levels of communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork Previous experience in a fast-paced auto dealership or repair shop Team player with a positive attitude Superior telephone communications ability Valid driver's license and clean driving record Professional and clean appearance with proper Garavel uniform and name tag worn Regular attendance and punctual Continued safety training and manufacturer training as assigned. Are exposed to contaminants, such as antifreeze and chemical degreasers Are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable May sometimes work in cold or hot temperatures
