We are seeking an experienced Construction / Quality Inspector to oversee critical phases of excavation, tunneling, and viaduct construction. This is your opportunity to work on a high-profile, large-scale project in a challenging and rewarding environment.
About the Role
As a Construction / Quality Inspector, you will be the on-site authority ensuring that all construction activities meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, coordinating independent testing, and enforcing OSHA and other regulatory protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections of excavation, shaft activities, tunneling, and viaduct construction.
Verify compliance with engineering plans, project specifications, and safety standards.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA and regulatory protocols.
Inspect materials and equipment for quality compliance.
Maintain detailed documentation of site conditions, activities, and inspection results.
Provide regular progress reports and recommend corrective actions as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, including excavation, shafts, and viaducts.
Strong ability to interpret and enforce design specifications and drawings.
Experience working near active railroads and wetlands.
Proven track record on large-scale infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
Background in bridge infrastructure.
Experience collaborating with city and state agencies.
Familiarity with complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
