Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10-12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Current state license required Certifications: ARRT (MR), ARRT (R), BLS Must-Have: Siemens experience required Description: You will be applying for a position in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes. The hurricane season typically runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can occur outside of that timeframe. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, unit management may assign you to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the storm passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details regarding pay during storms will be communicated, as impacts may vary. You should not apply during this hurricane window if you are not comfortable with these requirements. Schedule includes rotating shifts with coverage on weekends and occasional night duties. A background in adult acute care is necessary. Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred. Charting system experience may be required. Interdisciplinary support is provided within the unit. Special procedures and equipment specifics may be discussed during the interview process.
