Companion Animal Hospital in Hillsboro is growing! We are currently looking for an outgoing team member to join our fun, fast paced, small animal practice. We also see exotic pets and operate an urgent care walk‑in model in addition to some appointment-based structure. We are a full service, 5 DVM AAHA accredited hospital, with digital radiology, a dentistry unit and dental x‑ray, and ultrasound to provide excellent medical and surgical service to our patients. Responsibilities

Assist with patient care and treatment under Vet supervision Monitor hospitalized pets and aid in post‑surgical care Maintain inventory and stocking Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims Aid with routine diagnostic tests (radiographs, bloodwork, fecal analysis) Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments/equipment Clean/disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas Administer medications under Veterinarian/Vet Tech supervision Feed/bathe animals Answer phones and provide customer service Assist clients with their pets Support the veterinary team as needed Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older Self-starter, able to multitask and work well in a team Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can handle them when stressed, ill, or in pain Prefer 1+ years of experience, but not required Ability to meet physical demands: lifting, carrying and restraining animals (assistance available for heavy lifting; 40 lbs lifting capability) Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; work may involve bending or squatting Strong teamwork and communication with all levels of hospital staff Position Details

Part time (up to 29 hrs/week) or full time (30–40 hrs/week) available. Compensation ranges from $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Veterinary service discounts are available after an initial trial period. Full-time tenure includes health/dental/vision insurance and 401k. How to Apply
