NVA General Practice . Companion Animal Hospital in Hillsboro is growing! We are currently looking for an individual to join our team in a fun, fast-paced, small animal practice, with occasional rabbits, small pocket pets, or exotic pets. Our hospital is a full-service, 3 DVM, AAHA-accredited facility equipped with the latest technology, including digital radiology, dentistry units with dental x-ray, ultrasound, and surgical and therapeutic lasers, to provide excellent medical and surgical care. Applicants must be detail-oriented, able to work well within a team and independently, and have a positive, professional attitude. The ideal candidate is outgoing, takes initiative, and can connect with clients and patients. Responsibilities include documenting medical records, medication management, client interactions, maintaining clinic cleanliness and stock, and assisting with pet care as needed. Previous experience as a credentialed veterinary technician is required. The primary role involves assisting veterinarians with cases, mentoring, and educating non-credentialed staff, including anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and surgical prep. This position can be part-time (up to 29 hours) or full-time (30-40 hours/week), with potential weekend shifts.
