The work location is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by business needs. In this role, you will work closely with Senior Engineering leadership and cross-functional teams as a Strategic Financial Partner. You will drive resource planning and prioritization by evaluating trade-offs, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing metrics to measure business performance and efficiency. You will build processes to manage headcount and other cost drivers and provide financial insights that guide strategic decisions and drive impact for the organization. Responsibilities Strategic Thinking Begins to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and leads strategy development with business partners. Validates and executes complex pressure testing of growth opportunities. Provides guidance and support to more junior team members in operationalizing ideas and developing plans for execution. Stakeholder Influence Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders. Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to drive alignment and decision-making on issues within area of responsibility. Execution & Organization Independently drives the development of large workstreams, projects, or operational processes. Proactively identifies obstacles and recommends solutions. Performance Management Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts and develops improvements/alternatives for key metrics. Provides informal coaching and mentorship to junior team members working to forecast and analyze risks and opportunities in meeting targets. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 5 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the technology industry or high-growth environment with the ability to navigate ambiguity and scale processes Advanced proficiency in financial and data modeling with the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable business insights Strong aptitude with planning and reporting systems with preference to Oracle EPM and Hyperion Essbase Experience driving strategic planning cycles to shape business priorities and guide decision-making in alignment with financial objectives Ability to influence outcomes through effective cross-functional partnerships and a metrics-driven perspective Proven ability to transform finance processes and systems, partnering across teams to identify improvements, increase efficiency, and support scalable growth Pay and Benefits LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $202,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and location.
