Implement low-latency, high-availability systems to support mission-critical trading workflows. Ensure the reliability, maintainability, and optimal performance of all software components. Take part in code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and iterative process improvements. Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to the collective technical knowledge of our team. Translate business and analytical requirements into actionable technical solutions aligned with best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience in Java software development
with a core focus on server-side programming. Expert-level knowledge of fixed income products, specifically municipal bonds and related credit markets. Hands-on experience with pre-trade analytics, pricing engines, and complex risk models. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases. Mastery of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and industry best practices. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in high-frequency trading or real-time financial systems. Background mentoring teams or leading technical initiatives in fixed income technology. Familiarity with cloud-based architectures or distributed computing environments.
