Proactive Sales & Business Development: Identify, qualify, and secure new group and catering business opportunities to maximize revenue and support hotel growth goals. Client Relations & Negotiation: Build lasting relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and execute Group Sales Agreements to ensure clarity and mutual benefit. Customer Experience Leadership: Partner with Event Management and Operations to deliver seamless experiences from booking to post-event follow-up, exceeding guest expectations. Market Knowledge & Strategy: Monitor competitor activities, economic trends, and supply-demand shifts to position the hotel effectively in the market. Community & Industry Engagement: Represent the hotel at local events, trade shows, FAM trips, and client entertainment to strengthen brand presence. Sales Process Excellence: Utilize Marriott Global Source, eTools (eRooming Lists, eProposals, Passkey), and same-day selling procedures to optimize efficiency and revenue. Site Inspections & Presentations: Present the hotel’s offerings with professionalism to leave a positive impression on prospective clients. Contract & Turnover Management: Ensure accurate booking documentation and provide thorough turnovers to Event Management for flawless execution. Continuous Improvement & Feedback: Gather guest and planner feedback, address concerns promptly, and collaborate with departments to elevate service standards. Leadership: Model exceptional guest relations and salesmanship to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues. Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Sales, or related field preferred. Prior experience in hospitality sales or group/catering sales management strongly preferred. Job Requirements – Physical Demands
