Job Summary:
To provide leadership and direction for the Intensive Care Coordination Program(s), whose mission is to strengthen, expand and integrate a comprehensive system of community- based, culturally competent behavioral health and complementary services for children with serious emotional and behavioral health needs along with their families. The ICC Director is accountable to the CBYCS Regional Director. The ICC Director will oversee the expansion of Intensive Care Coordination and assure the program within the state is maintaining high fidelity to the wraparound model and adequately serving at risk communities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall growth of the ICC program.
Will create, carry and monitor quality measures to ensure the ICC program is adhering to all procedures Ensure timelines are being met. Develop and track program budget for ICC program. Hire and evaluate program staff. Attend regularly assigned meetings and all regional SOC meetings Communicate with and develop relationships with the community, other providers, and MCEs. Develop monitor the intake, triage and case assignment process. Utilize technology and health information systems such as EHRs and PowerBi to track and analyze quality measures. Develop and regularly update Training Curriculum Act as full member of CBYCS administrative team. Ensure payroll is submitted on time. Manage SOC meetings that the Gndara center is responsible for. Review/development of a risk management/safety plan in collaboration with the youth and parent/caregiver and mobile crisis/emergency department providers. Foster collaboration through multidisciplinary team meets Will assure the ICC program is appropriately staffed and have adequate referral sources
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a masters degree and have an independent license in an appropriate human services field.
CANS Certification 2 years of appropriate supervision Extensive understanding and experience within CSA/CBHI child serving systems. Experience navigating any of the child/family-serving systems and advocating for family members who are involved in the behavioral health system. Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving. Demonstrated communications, administrative and organizational capabilities. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies: School Dept., DCF, DYS, Juvenile Court, etc. Understanding/willingness to be part of a Program that supports youth and families 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. Must have a drivers license and availability of vehicle to support Program needs. Bi-Lingual Spanish/English preferred.
Program Factors:
To be flexible in accommodating forty (40) hours of work per week in order to adapt to the hours required for the programs operation as planned and requested by the CBYCS Director. To adhere to program and agency policies and procedures. To attend all staff meetings and all trainings as required. To work closely with other staff to better coordinate and service the consumer.
