Admissions Representative (FT), CFRE41035AIS at Inside Higher Ed. Create and expand awareness of College of DuPage offerings within the community and District 502 high schools; provide information to new and prospective students about admission and educational opportunities. Focus on outreach to District 502 high schools, adult students in the DuPage community, and community-based organizations. Represent College of DuPage at college fairs, high school visits, community events, and other public service programs. Schedule travel activities and logistics for these events. Recruit and cultivate relationships with prospective high school students, adult students, guidance counselors, local families, and community-based organizations. Assist in developing annual recruitment plans with objectives, strategies, target populations, and recruitment territories. Lead information sessions for prospective adult and high school students and families; answer questions and address concerns. Manage admissions projects related to marketing, enrollment communications, diversity recruitment, campus visitation, Enrollment Days, program receptions, admissions ambassadors, and scholars awards. Travel up to 4-6 weeks per year for in-person and virtual recruitment activities. Visit designated high schools at least twice per semester with additional visits encouraged. Develop, collect, analyze, and report data from travel and events in the assigned territory. Be flexible as duties are assigned across multiple admissions-sponsored recruitment initiatives (open houses, high school visits, first-generation student sessions, program spotlights, admitted student receptions). Evaluate qualifications and assist with admissions decisions for Early Admission students; interpret placement tests and provide course selection assistance. Manage the enrollment funnel for prospective students within the assigned territory, guiding them through the Five Steps to Enrollment. Provide high-quality service in interactions with high school counselors, prospective students, community members, and agencies. Analyze current and historical admissions trends within the territory and develop strategies to surpass enrollment goals. Weekend and evening availability is required for some aspects of the role, including application review, travel, and events. Utilize CRM Recruit to maintain updated records and communications with students, parents, and counselors. Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, Student Service Personnel, or related area preferred. Experience Two (2) years of admissions experience or a related role involving outreach activities and use of a database or inquiry management system; prior community college admissions or student affairs experience is preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Demonstrated strategic planning, follow-up, and organizational skills; case management, flexibility, and self-motivation. Ability to understand multicultural perspectives as applied to student recruitment. Working Conditions

Computer, fax, copier, laptop, and projector. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and deliver materials to businesses and community locations using own vehicle. Ability to walk distances and climb stairs with materials; stand for long periods. Travel with nights and weekends required.
