Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,626 per week in Dickinson, ND

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied start times, including nights, weekends, and call Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ND state lic Must-Have: - Experience in vascular, OB, breast, and abdominal small parts - X-ray experience preferred Description: Department: Ultrasound/Sonographer Certifications required include BLS, ARDMS, and North Dakota state licensure. Facial hair policy requires compliance with fit testing protocols. If unable to pass the fit test due to facial hair, contract may be canceled. Floating to cover X-ray areas may be required if possible. Common imaging studies performed include arterial and venous extremities, small parts, breast, carotid, OB, pediatric spine, pediatric head, abdomen, renal dopplers, pelvic, and echo. Staff should be able to work effectively with Meditech for EMR and PACS. Department-specific equipment includes Philips Epic ultrasound machines and various imaging devices. A radiology supervisor or lead technician is present during the day, with support on nights. Shifts and scheduling are mixed with varied start times, and team scheduling is utilized. Weekend and holiday requirements are in place. Call or standby requirements are included. Additional notes highlight a friendly environment and teamwork. Successful attributes for a technician in this department include communication, approachability, and collaboration. RTO needs to be submitted upfront, with limitations on additional requests.
