We are looking for a
Senior Manufacturing Engineer
to play a key role in shaping and launching new production systems for our next-generation products. This position focuses on building assembly processes that are safe, reliable, and efficient
ensuring smooth transitions from design to full-scale production. You will act as a bridge between engineering, operations, suppliers, and leadership, driving the industrialization of new programs from concept through launch.
What
you
will be doing as Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
Developing assembly strategies for new programs, including line layouts, tooling concepts, and process flow.
Guiding supplier engagement, from equipment specifications through installation and final run-off.
Partnering with design teams to refine parts and systems for manufacturability.
Leading process validation efforts, ensuring documentation and compliance with industry standards.
Supporting prototype builds and early production phases to identify risks and resolve issues quickly.
Applying lean principles and continuous improvement to strengthen safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to align program objectives and deliverables.
What
you will need as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
Bachelors degree in a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in high-volume assembly environments.
Strong background in process development, ergonomics, and tooling.
Familiarity with automotive quality systems and methodologies (APQP, FMEA, PPAP).
Track record of launching new production lines or major process introductions.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to travel for supplier engagement, equipment validation, and on-site support.
Training in lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
