The Carpenter is a skilled construction tradesperson responsible for executing projects ranging from structural framing to fine interior finishing, utilizing wood, composite, and other building materials. The Carpenter is tasked with measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials with extreme precision using a wide variety of hand, power, and specialized shop tools. Key responsibilities include constructing and installing foundational frameworks (walls, floors, roofs), erecting temporary structures like scaffolding, and completing high-quality finish work, such as installing doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and trim.
