Software Tester Job at Kforce Inc in Arlington

Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Software Tester. As a Software Tester, you will execute test plans, verify and document results. You will be expected to acquire working understanding of designated applications through review of technical and business documentation, training sessions and hands-on software testing experience.

Responsibilities: Execute test plans, verify and document results, and acquire a working understanding of designated applications.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance software Tester Role performing both internal and external testing, primarily UAT type testing
• Experience with manual and automated testing required
• Experience testing web services (RESTful preferably)
• Good customer service and excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues, conduct defect logging, tracking, and status reporting both internally and externally
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
