Responsibilities

• Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Software Tester.
• As a Software Tester, you will execute test plans, verify and document results.
• You will be expected to acquire working understanding of designated applications through review of technical and business documentation, training sessions and hands-on software testing experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance software Tester Role performing both internal and external testing, primarily UAT type testing
• Experience with manual and automated testing required
• Experience testing web services (RESTful preferably)
• Good customer service and excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues, conduct defect logging, tracking, and status reporting both internally and externally
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
