Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, clean, and analyze reinsurance treaty and facultative data, including premium, exposure, and claims information.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), loss ratios, and ceded premium trends.
- Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams to support risk assessment and pricing decisions.
- Analyze large data sets from internal systems and third-party sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Support bordereaux processing and validation to ensure correct reporting from ceding companies or brokers.
- Assist in ceded reinsurance accounting and reconciliation activities by providing data extracts and analysis.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines and integration of reinsurance systems (e.g., SICS, SAP FS-RI, or similar).
- Provide support during quarterly and annual closing processes, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify data quality issues and collaborate across teams to drive data governance and integrity.
- Create ad hoc analyses and reports to support management, underwriting, actuarial, and compliance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis, within the reinsurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, including treaties, facultative reinsurance, ceded/assumed business, and loss development.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Python, or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Experience working with reinsurance administration systems (e.g., SICS, SAP, Genius, OpenTWINS) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Experience in BDX-360
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
