Compass Group is hiring: JANITOR (PART TIME) in Charlotte

Job Summary

ESFM is hiring immediately for part-time janitor positions located at RMR Compass, 2300 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. One year of prior janitorial experience is required. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for occupants.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks with initiative; completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of prior janitorial experience is required.
