Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Trainer is responsible for hands-on training of new personnel and other warehouse employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide on-the-job training to equipment operators and other warehouse employees.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide on-going hands-on training to warehouse pickers and employees.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Be well-versed in all warehouse functions.
• Ability to plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Maintain all training records for required regulatory purposes and mandatory internally required instruction.
• Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions or accidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Understand various teaching methods and provide constructive feedback while maintaining a positive rapport with employees.
• Conduct all monthly safety refresher training.
• Conduct all post-accident safety refresher training.
• Must be willing to work off-shifts as needed for training demands.
• Will also operate as a forklift operator as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of training techniques or job training.
