Overview

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a Warehouse Forklift Trainer. Shifts open: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM ($21/HR); Mon-Fri 4:00 PM–12:30 AM ($23/HR).

Job Purpose: The Warehouse Trainer is responsible for the hands-on training of all new personnel and other warehouse employees. The trainer will train on best practices and provide on-the-job training. The role may include participation in scout assignments across the network as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training to equipment operators and other warehouse employees.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing hands-on training to warehouse pickers and staff.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Be well versed in all warehouse functions.
• Plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain all training records for required regulatory purposes and internal instruction.
• Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions or accidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Understand various teaching methods and provide constructive feedback while maintaining positive rapport with employees.
• Conduct all monthly safety refresher training.
• Conduct all post-accident safety refresher training.
• Willing to work off shifts as needed for training demands.
• Operate as forklift operator as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements

• Basic knowledge of training techniques or job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience.
