About the Role:

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for numbers? We're looking for a Senior Accounting Supervisor to oversee critical financial processes, ensure accuracy in reporting, and provide key insights to drive business decisions. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, global environment, combining technical expertise with strategic thinking.

Ideally, Insurance Industry background & Financial Consolidation experience ........

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage intercompany transactions between domestic and international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the general ledger accounting cycle and ensure all transactions are recorded properly for month-end closings.
  • Execute monthly consolidation and elimination processes in line with corporate standards.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS principles.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, coordinating timely fulfillment of audit requests.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls for assigned areas and processes.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed supporting schedules for balance sheets and income statements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the budgeting process and ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.
  • Leverage technology to automate and streamline manual accounting processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Expertise in the insurance industry (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle, general ledger processes, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other relevant accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a team.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
