Pay Rate: $19.39 - $31.02

Location: 1101 N. 6th Street; Broken Arrow, OK (Public Safety Complex)

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, provides secretarial and clerical support to the Support and Headquarters Divisions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receives lobby visitors, answers telephone calls, and responds to emails; provides information and refers to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintains front lobby office and provides customer service to citizens.
  • Scans in reports and other documents for record-keeping purposes.
  • Notarizes letters from the state; completes sex offender information forms.
  • Receives packages and forwards to appropriate personnel.
  • Types memos, letters, and reports.
  • Copies, compiles, and distributes reports, documents and other materials.
  • Transcribes recordings of interviews for the CID, provides a typed copy for submission to the District Attorney's Office; transcribes other recordings as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Tasks involve the ability to exert minimal physical effort in sedentary work, typically involving some combination of balancing, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, talking, visual acuity, walking and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 10 pounds).

Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
