Description
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the talent acquisition team. This role encompasses strategic planning, leadership, transparency, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements. The Supervisor is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and recruiting top-tier candidates across various positions to meet the company's staffing needs and objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Oversee recruiting team to ensure the following standards are adhered to:
• Post positions within 36 hours of receiving final approvals; advise managers on internal and external posting's and plan for consecutive and/or con-current posting's
• Purchase job bundles and/or print advertisements based on projected headcount increase and obtain proper approvals.
• Facilitate relocation process; obtain approvals; ensure budgetary compliance; Maintain relocation policy, guidelines and expectations for candidates.
• Complete organizational announcements within 1 week of new hire/promotion and day candidate starts
• Recruiting Tracking report (open and closed positions) are updated and distributed in a timely manner
• Develop Company-wide Training Programs and Standards for Recruiting
• Ensure departments maintain correct FTE and agency headcount based on approved budgets.
• Keep Manager informed of all issues on a timely basis and get all proper approvals.
• Create and maintain up-to-date SOPs for Recruiting
• Ensure timely/accurate reporting on WMM, Recruiting Tracker, Sign-On and Retention Bonus Tracker, Quarterly report of relocations to Payroll and any additional required reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for talent acquisition to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
• Analyze talent acquisition metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and insights on recruitment activities, progress, and challenges to senior management.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and recruitment agencies, to attract high-quality candidates.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Monitor and manage the recruitment budget, including job advertising, recruitment events, and relocation expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Supervise team of recruiters.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance and training to recruiters.
• Interact with Agencies to provide required information to ensure the correct candidates are attracted.
• Field questions from employees and managers regarding policy interpretations
• Successfully lead and manage the talent acquisition team, achieving recruitment targets and objectives.
• Enhance team productivity, efficiency, and performance through effective leadership, mentoring, and training.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, stakeholders, and external partners to support recruitment efforts.
• Implement and monitor recruitment metrics and analytics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement.
